Dr. Kent Orlando attended Dalhousie University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in 1993 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Dr. Orlando was drawn to the charm of small-town life and quickly fell in love with Carleton County. He has been practicing dentistry in Woodstock since graduating from dental school. In February 2011, he opened First Town Dental at its current location on 255 Connell Street, and in 2016, he welcomed Dr. Alex Wishart as his partner in the practice.
Actively involved in organized dentistry, Dr. Orlando served as President of the New Brunswick Dental Society from 2011 to 2012. He remains engaged in his community as a member of the Woodstock Rotary Club and the Meduxnekeag River Association. Professionally, he is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Fredericton Dental Society, the New Brunswick Dental Society, and the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Orlando is married to his wife, Tammy, and together they have two daughters, Lily and Madeline. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, canoeing and kayaking, cycling, skiing, tying flies, and fishing.
